IAOS 2024 Young Statistician Prize – Easy to print posters available in all UN languages
The IAOS is pleased to announce the launch of the 2024 YSP competition. Entries close on 10 February 2024.
The ESSnet Web Intelligence Network (WIN) project was launched by Eurostat in 2021 and aims to develop and nurture a network of like-minded individuals to have access to the Web Intelligence Hub, where they will be able to explore an array of non-traditional data sources to accelerate the modernisation of the European Statistical System (ESS).

Data2X and Open Data Watch have recently launched a Building Responsive Investments in Data for Gender Equality (BRIDGE) tool. BRIDGE is aimed to empower national statistical systems and national statistical offices (NSOs) to take the lead in producing robust gender data.
The 2023 IAOS General Assembly (GA) will be held at 18:10 pm – 19:50 pm (CEST), 17 July 2023, during the 64th ISI World Statistics Congress (WSC), taking place in Ottawa, Canada, on 16-20 July 2023.
IAOS would like to congratulate Ms. Joanne Yoon of Statistics Canada, Mr. Nelson Chua and Mr. Benjamin Long of Australian Bureau of Statistics, and the other winners of the 2023 Young Statisticians Prize (YSP) competition. Our thanks to all entrants and the International Judging Panel for their efforts.
Michel Mouyelo-Katoula, Statistician and former Global Manager of the International Comparison Programme, died on 12th April 2023 in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.

Through access to the Web Intelligence Hub, an analytical environment to produce statistics with web data, National Statistical Organisations will be able to explore an array of non-traditional data sources and accelerate the modernisation of the European Statistical System (ESS).
