Statistical Journal of the IAOS – September 2025 Issue – now available

The September 2025  issue of the Statistical Journal of the IAOS is now available. This open access issue marks 30 years since the Beijing Platform for Action with a special edition on “Producing and Using Gender Statistics”. This includes  fourteen papers showcasing both progress and persistent challenges in gender statistics. Examples include papers on Mainstreaming gender perspectives across statistical production processes, Time-use surveys revealing unpaid care work patterns globally, New standards in labour statistics with enhanced gender relevance. Other papers discuss  The urgent need for standardised definitions in sexual harassment measurement, Climate policy scorecards tracking gender-responsive commitments and  Citizen data as a catalyst for gender equality

The issue also discusses topics such as national quality strategies, corruption measurement, privacy-enhancing technologies, and measuring wealth.
