Rev. Osuolale Peter Popoola, PhD. is the Assistant Director, Research, Training and Development at Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, Oyo state Nigeria, a one-time Head of Department of Statistics of the institution. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in statistics with special interest in Designs, Analysis of Experiment and computational Statistics from the university of Ilorin Nigeria.
He has published above 30 international research papers in reputable, peer-reviewed journals, served as journal reviewer to many international peer-review journals outfit, chair of several conference panel sessions and authored three statistics Text books for colleges and Universities students in Nigeria and he has presented quite a number of papers internationally and nationally.
He is a member of the executive council of the Professional Statisticians Society of Nigeria (National Publicity Secretary) and member of the executive council of the International Statistical Institute Data Science working group. He has also worked for the United Nations on Data for Climate Change Challenge as a consultant in Africa sub-region. He was elected into the executive committees of the International Association for Official Statistics as African Representative in 2019.
