Nancy McBeth is a semi-retired International Statistical Consultant, based in New Zealand.  Nancy has a wide range of experience in official statistics – both in her native country New Zealand and in the Middle East, where she worked for about 12 years; where her primary responsibilities included supporting countries in the 2020 census round and capacity building.

Nancy has been the Special Advisor to the IAOS President since 2017, having also been an elected member of the 2015-17 IAOS Executive. Nancy is also an elected member of the ISI and worked on the update of the 2025 ISI Statutes.
